Cluttering up our kitchens with unused appliances

I was watching a program recently that was talking about how many of us feel that our homes are simply not big enough for us anymore. This may be the case if you have a bigger family, but often it is simply because we have too much stuff. The kitchen is one of the most common places to become cluttered and can often become a dumping ground for bags, shoes and rubbish.

In the UK we have millions of pounds worth of kitchen gadgets within our homes that are never being used. Often we may receive gifts for a wedding or engagement of items to go in the kitchen, but over time if we do not use them then we need to consider selling them or chucking them out. Bread makers are a popular item that gets used only a handful of times. Everyone likes the idea of the smell of freshly baked bread and the idea of making your own bread at home, but for the average family, finding the time to do so can be impossible.
