Back in 2010, Creative Tops requested Katie to collaborate with their business and as they say, the rest is history.Journey of KatieHer designs were influenced by the English country garden and her love for vintage as well as functional pieces.

    Not so long after, Cottage Flower Collection became such a hit. This pushed Creative Tops to continue working with Katie. In the succeeding years, Katie developed some more ranges for their loyal retail customers.Katie’s DesignsBird Song is the most recent design of Katie.   • Tips On Cleaning Stainless Steel

    Stainless steel is a popular choice, due to the fact it resists rust, and looks very nice. It also gives the illusion of being a very clean surface, but actually cleaning it can be a harder task. But we are here to help, just follow these simple rules and you’ll be good to go!

    First tip is to do a routine clean with warm water and a cloth. You may worry about water spots on the surface, but use a dry cloth to prevent this.

    One of the biggest complaints of stainless steel, is that you can see fingerprints. Spray some glass cleaner on a microfiber cloth and clean in a circular motion gently. We don’t recommend spraying directly on the surface as it may end up with drips.

    The other recommendation of course is stainless steel cleaner. The good quality cleaners can also minimize scratches on the surface.

  • The 1979 Sales Of Goods Act

    The dreaded moment in the electrical store, when the pushy salesman asks you the question about extended warranties. You have two options, refuse and have to listen to the salesman reasons for why you should take it, or take it and leave the store in peace. The real question is, whether they’re worth the money.

    First off, remember that you’re covered by The 1979 Sale of Goods Act, which says that goods should be of a satisfactory quality, fit to do the job intended and last a reasonable amount of time. If you purchase a new washing machine which breaks down within the first six months, then you can take it straight back to the store purchased in, and they will have to prove that the appliance was not faulty when you first purchased it.

    By law, you’re allowed to return goods up to six years after purchasing, but bear in mind it’s more of a headache as you have to prove that a fault from the day of purchase is the cause of the issue, and not normal wear and tear.
